This is a really neat Jack Daniels 2 Gallon Jug that caught my attention. This particular piece appears to be from the 1870’s and stands about 14 inches tall and 9 inches wide.

This Crock Jack Daniels Jug was repaired by Richland Restorations as it had a small chip towards the front of the lip. It also had other smaller chips around the top corner of the jug from regular tear and wear.
This example did not sell on Ebay on October 19,2011 as the reserve price was not met. However, there were at least five different bids with the highest being $861.51 indicating this is at least it value but possibly more.
If this example were to have no chips it would have easily bought over $1,000 or much higher. A very nice piece and amazing that it still survives today almost intact despite being over 130 years old.
