Here is an Original Red Crown Gasoline and Polarine Sign. This is one of the most decorative and beautifully designed signs I have ever seen.

There is so much artwork in it that it is hard to take it all in at once. This sign is double sided with one side in better condition than the other. The better side has a lot of color and very visible writing and artwork on it. The other side appears to have been mounted on a post, then someone apparently splashed paint on it from painting the post. This is a Standard Oil Co sign and advertises “Insure Maximum Power and Speed, Summer or Winter” Copyright 1913.
