Zenith “the quality goes in Before the name goes on” This vintage zenith long distance radio Model no. 12-6-232 It is not in working condition The speaker cover has been replaced And when turned on humms The original knobs are made of wood The top knob has an indicator under it That reads: Foreign Bass Hi-fidelity Normal Voice In the center of the big dial: Zenith Long distance The bottom left knob Appears to control frequency And goes from 1-17 The center knob has 3 controls The outer most knob and inside knob turns But doesn’t appear to do anything The inner most control is metal And controls the center dial The center dial is for Amateur, ships, police, and aviation bands When turned clockwise, the dial displays Foreign broadcast bands When turned clockwise again The dial displays Standard broadcast stations The knob to the right has 3 settings Off On local On distance This radio although not working Is in very good condition The wood cabinet is solid With some minor scratches Consistant with age And the back is missing This will be a great addition To any vintage radio collection
