This auction is for a beer wagon and beer barrels circa 1901. It was discovered in the 1950’s somewhere in Tigard Oregon. The wagon includes 27 wooden Beer Barrels. Some of the barrels have end metal straps coming off and need to be fixed. The other barrels can be hung when serving beer. Measurements are 144″, while the trailer size measures 165” wide 54”, overall length 165”, height with canopy 129″. On the wagon it has the words “Rainier Brewing Company since 1878” on the back of it.
The trailer was apparently restored by the Rainier Brewing Company. The Rainery Brewing Company used these trailers for promotions some of them being used with horses. The Rainier Brewery Companywas a Brewer from Seattle from 1878 to 1999. Since not in use the wagon has been kept in a museum and occasionally has been used for parades and special events.
The wagon works well and is strong it has some wear like chips and wear and tear from being used. The top of the wagon can be taken off and the canvas is in good shape. Overall a very nice beer wagon with beer barrels.
