Description: “Collectible, a blanket weight circa 1920’s, uncommon Navaho weaving that measures 5 feet long by 3 foot 5 inches wide or 60” x 41”. It is attributed to the Red Mesa weaving area and is in very good to excellent condition. It was handwoven by an expert weaver on a primitive upright loom of all Native handshorn, handcarded and nicely handspun long staple Churro and Churro cross sheep wool, both weft & warp. Here is an exciting anthropomorphic mirror image weaving”.
