Description by seller: “ A young Carl Laemmle Jr., son of the founder of Universal Studios, saw box office potential in an 1897 Victorian novel by Irish author Bram Stoker, about a vampire trying to relocate from Transylvania to England. The novel had made a very successful transition to the stage and was a huge hit on Broadway by the 1920s”.
