Description: “Collectible, original 1939 -40 gm auto compass mfg. By u.s.gauge of n.y. this example is better than average with all original parts, bowl, gm band,mounting bracket and slotted screws. Still holds fluid and float still attached. Condition strong chrome on band , bracket shows good, screws not stripped. Glass bowl is dirty on inside, but no visible chips, cracks, or breaks”.
Definitely a very nice Compass that brought a lot of attention and a great price.
