The Seller chazbev described the item as: “Is a vintage 1949 Nikon 1 Nippon Kogaku 35mm rangefinder camera in good used aged condition. The camera seems to work however that said I have not tested it with film nor do I consider myself an expert camera person. The camera is pretty clean inside and out. The camera body has no dings or dents only some very light scratches and light patina. The lens cover has two small dings on it. The Nippon Kogaku Tokyo No. 7051654 Nikkor-QC 1:3.5 f=5cm lens is scratch, crack, and chip free. The lens body is clean and free of dings or dents. The serial number 609156 dates this camera to 1949 and is an early model Nikon 1 as they were first made in 1948”
