On September 21, 2012 a Leica 1 Camera Sold for $12,800.00 on eBay.
The Seller classicgoods30 described the camera as, “This camera was one of the first batch that was produced in 1924, designer Osker Barnack. Black covering vulcanite around camera, aluminum body with black lacquered brass top plate and base plate and nickle plated knobs. Tubular view finder. Camera comes with leather case, there are damage to the case strap broken, stitching broken in some places, lock snap is missing.”
This a very neat and interesting Camera, and realized a very great price due to its popularity.
