For your consideration is a circa 1960 Selmer Mark VI Tenor Saxophone with its original lacquer. Serial #71622. This great horn was Frank Glover’s personal saxophone for over 25 years. When paired with a great mouthpiece, like an old Otto Link Five * mouthpiece, it has that beautiful liquid sound and huge low end we have come to love from the Selmer Mark VI. The action is unbelievably quick. It has had two small custom keys made to make the high F# (photos 6&7) and altissimo register (photo 8) smoother. Saxophone is in good playing condition but needs to be recorked.
