On January w0, 2013 a Collectible 1977 Man From Atlantis Metal Lunchbox, Only 3 Known To Exist Sold for $5,201.91 on eBay

The Seller cheezboxer described the item as: “Collectible i have decided to let the prize of my collection find a new home. This is a genuine 1977 lunchbox manufactured by King Seeley Thermos. It will not be found in any book, and I only know of 2 others to exist . The Man From Atlantis TV series, starring Patrick Duffy, was a very short lived production, maybe 6 episodes. The physical demands of the show, with all the underwater shooting, proved to be more than Patrick Duffy could handle. The lunchbox had already been designed, and a few samples were manufactured. Production was cancelled, and I suppose these lunchboxes were to be destroyed, but at least three survived. That is all I know about this rare piece, other than it’s previous home was from a collector in Tennessee”

Definitely a very nice Lunchbox that brought a lot of attention and a great price that we decided to post it as one of our Collectibles Sold Highlights.
