This alteration was made by the manufacturer to avoid using the iconic lightning bolt-style “SS” in the “KISS”, and prevent any unwanted association with the Nazis. There were only a handful of these games produced compared to the standard Kiss logo edition, and most of the machines that still exist are located outside North America”.

Definitely a very nice Collectible that brought a lot of attention and a great price.
