On December 03, 2012 a Collectible Banded Butterscotch Lutz Marble Sold for $2,800.00 on eBay
The Seller ru4liminx described the item as: “Collectible Rare Butterscotch Semi-Opaque Banded Lutz Marble. Rich butterscotch, almost caramel base color with 4 contrasting baby blue bands accented by 2 Lutz bands. This marble measures approximately 7/8″ and is in mint condition with a nice shine. There is an elongated air bubble within one Lutz band seen in the second photo. I purchased this marble over 25 years ago when the condition of a marble was referred to as wet mint, mint, near mint and collectable”
Definitely a very nice Marble that brought a lot of attention and a great price that we decided to post it as one of our Collectibles Sold Highlights.
