I am now offering a coin operated phonograph that I consider to be one of the prettiest and rarest coin operated phonographs ever built.
I have been in the phonograph business for over 30 years and this is the first time to offer one of these machines. It is a Pathe Concert Phonograph with inside horn and integrated record storage with an Art Nouveau style front designed by Le Grand. This Pathe Concert has been sitting in a private collection for probably 40 years. The case is (170 x 77 x 65 cm ) ( 5.6 x 2,5 x 2,1 ft ) The bottom halve of the cabinet holds the money drawer. The top part holds the phonograph and a storage for 10 35 cm ( 14 inch) records. There probably has been a pediment with the name Pathe Concert but this pediment is missing. This extreme rare piece needs some work. To start with it is missing the electric motor with belt in order to make the turntable turn. It is also missing the electric switch for the coin mechanism. All the rest seems to be complete but I can not guarantee this. I took plenty of pictures to give you a good idea of the condition of this museum piece. I also found a working example on you tube. I t comes with 8 35 cm Pathe discs ( 2 have a crack) It comes with 3 different original program sheets. It comes with an Original Pathe Concert Soundbox. Shipping: This is a huge piece but we can pack and ship worldwide. I estimate packing and shipping at USD 1250,- with a door to door service. What else to say ?
