On January 30, 2013 a Collectible Detective Comics Sold for $7,600 on eBay.
The Seller sparklecitycomics described the item as: “Collectible having a copy of Detective Comics #5 up for auction is a rare treat. This classic Craig Flessel cover is from the dawn of the golden age. Only 3 copies have ever graded higher and only a couple of examples have been for sale in the last decade. Larry Steele begins in this issue and it features some tremendous early art. This issue is now over 75 years old and still has preseved its off-white to white pages.”
Definitely a very nice Comic that brought a lot of attention and a great price.
