Description by seller: “This Auction is for a Carl Zeiss Observation Binoculars in the original dovetailed box with the original papers.They are 12,20,40 x 80. These are as mint as you may ever find. The condition is truly excellent , the box , the binoculars, the outside of the binoculars, the lens ect. I cannot say enough about the condition of these Binoculars. These were found in a local estate near Wilkes-Barre Pa and have been stored for many years in an upstairs bedroom. so they were stored properly in a nice dry area. There is also a paper in the box on how to take care of these wonderful Binoculars”.

Description by seller: “This is an extremely rare early Carl Zeiss Jena 7X50 BLC first model, made in 1941. Most of these binoculars have been lost, destroyed or converted to the second model specifications during war. 1000 units of the first model were produced. Very early models were marked with eagle and swastika. They were produced with 23mm eye lenses, flip-up eyecups and no rubber armoring”.
