#1. Top Disney Sold for $5,522. on eBay

Name of Collectible:  Disney 1943 Production Original Full Page Comic Book Art

Description by seller: “Up for auction is a full page of a total of 13 cells to complete a Disney 1943 Mickey Mouse Comic book page. The lay out art pencil and ink drawings are of Mickey and his his Western friends.  The  drawings are original, on card stock and not reproduced, and were used as part of the comic book production process dated 1943.   Each of the drawings show pencils marks, blue production pencil  and black ink markings in each cell. The art work was produced on other card stock paper and then cut & glued onto the main cardstock, with scenes being completed on each cell. This item and others to follow in the coming days are from the estate of Disney animator John Basmajian.  The piece measures approx 15″X 24″ and shows  slight storage scuff marks, white out and adhesive marks in some of the cells. There is no moisture damage”.

Description by seller: “The Art Lay Out Ink Drawings are of Donald Duck and his 3 nephews that are each titled “Not Good, But Loud” & “Table D’ Hobo Stew.” The drawings are original, on card stock and not reproduced, and were used as part of the comic strip production process dated 10-31-42 and 11-26-42. Each of the drawings show pencils marks, blue production pencil and black ink markings in each cell. The art work was produced on other card stock paper and then cut & glued onto the main cardstock, with scenes being completed on each cell. This item and others to follow in the coming days are from the estate of Disney animator John Basmajian”.

Description by seller: “A beautiful 1933 emerson walt disney snow white model working radio   . This all original model is housed in the seldom seen hand painted ( i have been told these radios where handpainted by disney artists for emerson ) with raised disney figures  . The radios condition is excellent and original   , about as good as it gets and the best of the best . A well built cabinet ,  solid , and sturdy . The radio retains its original bright graphics   . This radio with its almost 80 year old tube type electronics has had a safty check , and bad or weak components have been changed for safe playing . Even the electric cord has been changed for safe playing   . Now this radio plays with good volume and tunes in several stations”.
