Description by seller: “A beautiful glass insulator that I discovered in a box lot purchased at an estate sale. I am not an insulator collector and only held onto this because I remembered that the threadless design meant that it’s older and more rare so I decided to research it. From my limited research, this appears to be a threadless egg glass insulator from the mid to late 1800’s. It is very thick dark glass that appears almost black without a direct light. From the pictures, you can see it glows a lovely teal/dark blueish green when a bright light is shined inside. The glass is beautiful with lots of very tiny air bubbles”.

Definitely a cool collectible capturing the number one spot for the highest sold Insulator on eBay in the month of May 2015.

This One Has Two Ears That Have Been Broken Off And A Small Flash On The Base Rim I Could Not Find One Exactly Like This One In My Book But One Similar To This One In Dec 2014 At Pol Top Auction Sold For 2,576.00 It Was In Much Better Condition So That’s Why The Low Price”.
