Description by seller: “With upwards of approximately 75 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout the shade, which is to be expected for this model considering the vast number of individual pieces of glass required to execute this intricate pattern and monumental shade.  Many of these hairlines are small and minor; there are a few instances of multiple hairlines to individual glass tiles, all which appear stable”.

Definitely a cool collectible capturing the number one spot for the highest sold Lamps on eBay in the month of May 2015.

#2. Most Expensive Lamp Sold for $400,000. on eBay

Description by seller: “ This lantern was sensitively conserved in the late 1990s by a professional Tiffany conservator.  At the time three of the six panels around the circumference of the shade were stabilized, and approximately 6-10 pieces of glass on the respective panels were re-set with possible glass replacements”.

Description by seller: “The Warshawsky Family acquired this chandelier in the early 1970s and converted it to a ceiling uplighter in their residence.  With the assistance of a professional Tiffany conservator we have faithfully converted the chandelier back to its original orientation as a down lighter”.
