Here is a nice original 2 Frogs bank that is in perfect working condition.There is no cracks or damage to any of the cast iron and has its nice original paint .Made by J & E Stevens. Another example of an early americana toy.To operate , place a coin onto the small frog.Press the lever behind the large frog and it kicks the coin into the bank .At the same time , the large frog opens its mouth to catch the coin.The bank works great.The bottom is cast ” ENG PAT JULY 28 1882 US PAT AUG 8 1882 “.It has the patd. coin door on the bottom to remove the coins.The size is aprox. 4 1/2 ” tall x 8 1/2 ” long x 3 ” deep.
