On February 03, 2013 a Collectible Spectacular Isfahan Rug; a Masterpiece by the Grand Master Ali Seirafian Sold for $9,990 on eBay.
The Seller homid123 described the item as: “Collectible extremely rare rug is one of a very few remaining masterpieces by Grand Master Ali Seirafian, which can ever be found in a regular auction. Ali Seirafian along with his brother Mohammad are the only living legends from the original seven golden Seirafian brothers who are responsible for the glory of the Seirafian Rugs; an all time crown jewel of handwoven oriental rugs. Their rugs are exhibited in museums all over the world and most notably in the United Nations exhibition. It is extremely difficult to find master Ali’s rugs”.
Definitely a very nice Rug that brought a lot of attention and a great price.
