Lunch with Warren Buffet Auction Fetches $2.35 Million

WARREN BUFFETT hosted a lunch auction benefiting GLIDE and its programs. The power lunch date was up for auction on eBay June 5, 2011 at 7:30 pm PDT and closed on June 10, 2011 at 7:30 pm PDT.

Mr. Buffett dined with the winning bidder and including seven friends at Smith & Wollensky in New York City on a mutually agreed upon date.

All bidders must have pre-qualified in order to bid on the auction. The opening bid was set at $25,000.

100% of proceeds from the winning bid benefited GLIDE, one of the leading social service institutions working to alleviate human suffering and poverty in the San Francisco Bay Area.
