Definitely a cool collectible capturing the number one spot for the highest sold Book on eBay in the month of September 2013.

Description by seller: “Beautiful and very rare set of the 1836 first edition of the first series of dickens’ ‘sketches by boz,’ in two octavo volumes, bound in the publisher’s original dark green cloth (smith’s primary binding), printed at london by john macrone in 1836, and adorned with 16 full-page plates engraved by george cruikshank, including the frontispieces, together with, the 1837 first edition of the second series of dickens’ ‘sketches by boz,’ bound in the publisher’s original salmon-pink cloth, printed in octavo at london by john macrone in 1837, and adorned with 10 engraved plates including the frontispiece and engraved title, both works complete in all respects, the first series in near fine condition internally and excellent condition externally”.
