Description by seller: “For sale, 2 vintage 1949 Washington D.C. Inauguration license plates.  These plates were in honor of the inauguration of Harry S. Truman.  They measure about  6¼” x 12½” and are made of steel.  The background is a dark blue.  The front and back of both these plates are in excellent condition”.
