Description by seller: “Very rare johnsons rotary lock co n.y. brass padlock with original brass key.  Works great.  Front is marked  “johnsons rotary lock co ny. Fg johnsons pat. Feb. 5, 1861”  shackle has “no 50” and the letter “p” on the front.  They key is also marked “no. 50” on one side and “johnson’s rotary lock co”.

Definitely a cool collectible capturing the number one spot for the highest sold Lock on eBay in the month of September 2013.
