Description by seller: “A truly pretty 19th C. Chinese Doucai decorated vase of blossoming flowers and birds on a creamy white glaze. All very delicately done with a slight orange peel surface. The base bears a finely done Youngzheng mark. Size: 3.25″ tall, Condition: Excellent condition”.Definitely a cool collectible capturing the number one spot for the highest sold Vase on eBay in the month of August 2013.

Description by seller: “A fine pair of 18th or 19th C. Chinese Qianlong marked Cobalt and Gilt vases. Each decorated with a deep fine cobalt ground and embellished with fine gilt calligraphy in rows of script on one side and the other decorated with landscape settings of deer beneath pine trees. The interior of each is coated with a soft greenish-blue enamel. Size: 8″ tall and 4.5″ wide”.

Description by seller: “The vase is of a rectangular pear-shaped body with chamfered corners rising from a low straight foot, molded with peach-shaped panels and flanked with tubular handles.  The shape is derived from the appreciation for archaic wine vessels during the 18th century.  The vase is covered with a thick pale grey glaze.  The unglazed foot is dressed in brown and the recessed bottom is marked with a six-character underglaze blue Qianlong mark”.

Measures 18 1/8″ height x 8 1/4″ diameter (46cm x 20.9cm). Very good condition with no significant damages or repair”.
