    Print Friendly

The Ebay Listing as of February 26, 2013.

On January 12, 2013 a Collectible Triceratops Horn Fossil Dinosaur Bone Tooth Claw T-Rex Sold for $3,050 on eBay.

The Seller apocalypseangel4 described the item as: Collectible  found at the Hell Creek formation, in Northern Montana, Fort Peck area. From the Cretaceous Period, 70-66.5 MYA. One of the most complete and largest diameter triceratops horns out there. The base has extra pieces of skull that would connect below the eye. It has a great brown color as well as shape and texture. The horn has been professionally prepared. It is all bone with only crack fills as it was found in 4 pieces. Penetrant sealant was used in between these breaks and then over the entire horn. This has made the horn incredibly strong and stable. It is a monster horn with a nice tip from an 11 ton herbivore Monster 33” long x 28” diameter Triceratops Left Brow Horn with skull connection areas”.

Definitely a very nice Fossil that brought a lot of attention and a great price.
