Here is an original civil war cdv. Everything about this photo is 110% correct. Not a copy!!!!!!!!!! Real, original, authentic and on and on and on ……… I don’t know where to start here. Please go the end of my listing and i have added all you will need to know. Might take awhile to read it, but certainly most interesting….. He has a sword, the tattered flag that went thru the gettysburg battle, i believe a pistol in the holster and other stuff. I googled this guy, and after digging, this same image appeared. I was shocked!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The family this was purchased from was originally from the monticello area, where, this guy was from. This cdv is 110% right and correct!!!!!!!! I am going to copy and paste everything that is google so you get the entire history, and save you the time of doing what i already have done. This has to be very very rare!!!!!!!!! This guy was eventually killed in battle. Please read all of what i have added from google!!!!! It is 3 7/8″ x 2 1/2″. The corners of the backing has been trimmed but did not go into the photo at any point. I assume this was trimmed to get in a photo album. I picked this out of a house out of a photo album from the time period. This is 100% original and not a copy. Photographer on the backside.
