    Worlds Most Expensive Stamp

The Treskilling Stamp is the most valuable stamp in the world because there is only one known. Additionally, the stamp is an error since it was supposed to be printed in green color and not yellow as seen in the image.

This stamp only survives thanks to a 14 year old kid from Swede who found it in his grandmothers belongings who didn’t think much of it. The boy went and sold it to a dealer who paid him a very small sum. The stamp was issued in 1855 but was used to mail a letter in 1857. Based off its weight and size this is one of the most expensive collectibles in the world if not the most expensive if measuring by volume.
