    Description by seller: “This 1960 Mercedes Benz 220SE Cabrio is in Midnight Blue with Grey.  The 220S Mercedes-Benz was introduced at the Frankfurt Auto Show in April 1956. It succeeded the 220 model of 1951 with its traditional tubular chassis frame and it shared some of its mechanical specification. After two years in production, a Bosch fuel-injection system was added to the basic 220S engine to create the 220SE. This not only added 15hp, but also increased engine reliability and thus value”.

    Description by seller: “Only one Ecto-1 and one Ecto-1a (part 2 car) were ever built and screen used for the filming of Ghostbusters.  Sony still owns the cars and have no intention of selling them any time soon.  This Ecto-1 is as close to a screen used car as you can get.  It has had a “screen used” life in show business since the 1960’s, including a scene in 1967 movie “The Heat of the Night” featuring Sidney Poitier.  After being retired from screen use, it was converted to an Ecto-1 and restored by a picture car company for exhibition use“.
