Description by seller: “This clock is in very good cosmetic condition and is in running order,  The movement is clean and I do not think that there is anything seriously wrong with the clock other than it needing a good cleaning and oiling. The  outside spring for the ratchet gear on the left will need adjusting as it does not always “catch””.

Definitely a cool collectible capturing the number one spot for the highest sold Clock on eBay in the month of April 2014.

Description by seller: “ESW presents, from a fine San Diego estate, this very rare Chelsea Clock Co made of Spaulding & Co. ships clock with opening porthole cover, mounted on substantial on it’s original wooden base. Dial alone measures 8 inches across. Total measurement across top bezel is 10 3/8 inches. Back of clock is marked Chelsea and has a patent date of 1901“.

Description by seller: “ ere is a fabulous and rare miniature  Silver and Guilloche   Engraved & Hallmarked  Travel Clock.  Signed by the best movement maker.  JTC. It is signed by JTC and numbered  91  15 with its original  Amythyst (?) Winding key on Top.  The clock is missing it’s bun feet”.
