    3. Top Clock Sold for $2,600. on eBay

Name of Collectible: 1941 Hamilton Model 21 Ships Chronometer Watch WWII Maritime Timepiece
This item Sold for $2,600. (Click Image to View Auction).
    eBay seller:  pinkponyantiquesllc
Description by seller: “Circa:   1920’s/1930’s. This was another of my Great Uncle’s treasures. A Hamilton Model 21 Ships Chronometer in what I believe a Mahogany wood case. Family members remember this timepiece always being displayed in the china cabinet and off limits to the kids. I am told that occasionally Great Uncle took it from the cabinet to wind it and show it to friends and family. No one could recall when he acquired it, but think it was either at some point when he served in the Navy as a submarine Crew Chief, during WWII, or after his retirement from the Navy in the early 60’s. It is apparent that he treasured this and took very good care of it. While it was in excellent running condition when I acquired it earlier this year, I sent it off to have the movement inspected and cleaned”.
