The clay body is White Clay (W-incised on bottom). The registration number is DF 29 (painted on bottom), which tells us the vase was made in 1909, and of course the Newcomb College mark(incised/colored on bottom). The vase stands approximately 6″ tall, and the diameter at the vase opening is approximately 3”.

It works well – when wound, the toy vibrates and the arms go up and down as if he were dancing. He also comes with the box which shows that it was No 179 and has the F.M. logo. The box does have some staining and a couple of repairs, including one small edge of the bottom of the box seeming to have been fixed or replaced with another piece of cardboard a long time ago”.
