Description by seller: “Caligraph Number One typewriter produced in the 1880s. This is the hard to find first variant of the much more commonly seen models with lowercase and capital keyboards such as the number two and three. This example is in excellent original condition and has not been restored. It even has most of its original pinstriping”.

Definitely a cool collectible capturing the number one spot for the highest sold Type Writer on eBay in the month of September 2013.

Description by seller: “Has original black paint and generally good gilt ‘decaling’ of flowers and excellent gold gilt pinstriping. Some wear and scuffing to metal finishes. Nickeled parts all in excellent condition, but need buffing out with a polish to take away surface abberations due to age.  No cracks or breaks to cast iron frame or construction”.

Description by seller: “Presented here today is an early, rare   ”  The Franklin  ” Typewriter, with early serial number- 3780. It has a qwerty, three bank, semi-circular keyboard. The gold decal “The Franklin” is in excellent condition, and there is an oval, neckel label plate under the keyboard, which makes this the Type ll, circa 1891”.
